ACE TankSafeSM
In October of 2003, ACE Environmental Risk launched ACE TankSafeSM, a web-based underwriting
facility that enables contracted brokers to conduct automated underwriting transactions from
submission to issuance in a quick and easy manner. The original platform offered coverage for
underground storage tanks, from the small commercial tank policies to large industrial portfolios.
The ACE TankSafeSM system is unlike any other currently available, providing a cost-effective and simple
to use automated system for online quoting, binding, and certificate and policy issuance.
In July of 2004, ACE Environmental Risk expanded the capabilities of ACE TankSafeSM by enhancing the system to
include coverage for above-ground storage tanks in addition to underground storage tanks.

On December 1, 2004, AER launched ACE eCPLSM,
a user-friendly internet portal for Contractors Pollution Liability coverage molded
after the ACE TankSafeSM system.
